Michelle has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Service Management and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, both from the University of Phoenix. Michelle is currently a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, Michelle’s approach is to help individuals move forward, rebuild self-confidence and take the necessary steps to work toward a better life. Michelle employs strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psycho-education and Solution Focused therapy. Michelle has a passion for helping others and her values are based on her Christian background.
Michelle finds a particular sense of fulfillment in helping individuals regain their sense of control and power following a traumatic event.
