Profile

Cindy Stella, the UNLV School of Medicine Director of Student Financial Services, is responsible for establishing and executing financial aid management, scholarship operations, and a customized financial literacy program for medical students. 

Stella, who supports admissions and student affairs operations and the school’s student wellness programming, also serves as the lead coordinator for the UNLV School of Medicine Liaison Committee on Medical Education accreditation process. She successfully worked with executives and administration for the medical school’s preliminary accreditation in 2015-2016 and will manage provisional accreditation activities in 2018-2019.

Stella holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and business administration from The University of Arizona, and a master’s degree in integrated marketing and communications from West Virginia University.
