Profile

Benita Wolff, the UNLV School of Medicine Director of Diversity and Inclusion, works to align the school’s diversity efforts with its education, clinical, and research missions.

Wolff has more than 15 years of experience in higher education and nonprofit administration with a focus on issues related to access and equity, recruitment and retention and student affairs.

Prior to joining the UNLV School of Medicine, she was the director of inclusion and diversity for ACT, Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to helping people achieve education and workplace success.  She also served as the associate dean for diversity at the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, where she launched the Office of Cultural Affairs and Diversity Initiatives and led efforts to promote and support inclusive excellence across the University of Iowa Health Care enterprise.

Benita received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Lincoln University, a Master of Education in higher education administration at the University of Toledo, and a certificate in diversity management from Cornell University.
