Aaron Shedlock, MD
Dr. Aaron Shedlock, an assistant professor of pediatrics at the UNLV School of Medicine, completed his medical degree at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and his general pediatrics residency at the Children’s National Medical Center.
A board-certified pediatrician who worked as an emergency medical clinical associate in the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., Dr. Shedlock is now the UNLV School of Medicine Pediatric Residency Associate Program Director/ Director of Ambulatory General Pediatric Curriculum.
Dr. Shedlock is an active member and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is interested in medical student and pediatric residency education, quality improvement, and the screening/prevention of pediatric disorders.
He has been elected to the Phi Beta Kappa, Gold Humanism, and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Societies and was the recipient of the Doctor Maynard I. Cohen Memorial Award upon graduating from the Children’s National Medical Center. In 2016 he was named “Educator of the Year” at the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine.
